Alright moms, here is my list of my favorite mom hacks that get me through this crazy ride of motherhood! This is a short and sweet post and will be updated as I find more awesome and useful hacks!
- If your child shows affinity to a certain blanket/ stuffed animal / lovey make sure to buy at least 2
- Buy capris on sale at the end of summer in your child’s next size and have pants for the winter and summer
- Make smoothies and put them in popsicle molds. Try my kid friendly smoothie! Has spinach and kale and you cannot taste it.
- Use cupcake wrappers under popsicles to catch the mess.
- Teething baby? Use frozen fruit or frozen breast milk in a teether.
- Use an ice cube tray to hold paint in when your child is painting. Easy to clean and keeps the paint separate.
- Need to baby proof your coffee table? Use a pool noodle.
- Put a command hook on the back of the high chair to hold baby bibs.
- Support immunity by using essential oils! My favorite is thieves! We use it every night to help keep us healthy.
- Need to baby proof cabinets? If it has handles use a dog collar.
- Wanna hold onto those precious baby outfits but have no space? Use vacuum seal bags.
- Use old DVD cases as traveling coloring books.
- If overalls have adjustable straps buy them in the next size up to be used for two years
- During cold season use thieves blend on the bottoms of your feet and spine to boost wellness in your home!
- Get the Shutterfly app and order all your photos when they have free promos! I also use the photo books to capture my daughter’s life. I made her baby book using a free book!
- Kids slipping in their socks? Add puffy paint or hot glue to the bottom!
- Kid grow out of pants lengthwise but not in the waist? Keep them next year to use during the summer time! Now you have capris!
Such good hacks! I really love buying a few of your child’s favourite stuffie/blanket/etc and buying things a size up if you can. Genius!
